1 WEEK LEFT!!!!

My pregnancy days are coming to an end, with only 1 week left til Logan arrives. Dr appt went great today Logan is weighing in at 6 lbs 4 oz, so my prediction for his final birth weight of 6 lbs 10 oz could still be right. We are getting very excited and nervous all at the same time. Can't wait to meet our "Little Daddy."

2 WEEKS LEFT!!!

Went to one of the final dr apts today. Everything is still looking awesome. Getting so excited to see our little miracle. Mike and my bet for the final birth weight is still on...he thinks 6 lbs 5oz and I think 6 lbs 10 oz.  We will find out soon enough who is closer. For now we just wait and wait and wait and let Logan aka "Little Daddy" keep cooking.

Week 32 Only 5 weeks left!!

Today's dr visit went great. Logan now eight 4 lbs 10 ounces, his cerebellum is rounding out and the fluid is starting to circulate around his brain. He still has clubbed feet and will have them at birth. So the goal is to have Logan stay put for another 5 weeks and have no problems after birth and we head home 7 to 10 days later.

Week 30 and 31

Went to the dr today and got some great 3d images of Logan. Everything is looking really good so far. Last week Logan was weighed at 3 lbs 4 ounces. We also talked to a spina bifida specialist and recieved a lot of useful information. She even told us about a spina bifida clinic called Scottish Rite in Dallas that is free and has a really good progam for Logan. only 6 weeks left til he arrives. Hopefully only 7 to 10 days after that and we can come home to Texas.

Week 28

Only 63 more days til the arrival of baby Logan. Dr appt went well. Logan now weighs 2 lbs 11 ounces.

Week 27

Wow what an amazing day. We had our weekly dr appt today, everything is still looking great. I did my glucose test today as well (not the best drink in the world). When we were finished with the appt  on of our drs told us she had something for us. It turns our that her husband builds the baseball bats Josh Hamilton uses. She was telling her husband our us and he told Josh, so Josh gave us an autographed bat and told them to tell us that when we get back home he would like to spend the day with  us and see how Logan is doing.

Week 26

Dr apptment went well. Logan weighs 2 lbs 1 ounce. only 11 weeks til his arrival. cant wait to finally meet him and hold him.

week 25

Dr appt went well. Everything is still looking great. I am no longer on bed rest, able to walk around the house bet have to be in a wheel chair if we leave the house. Only 12 weeks  left til Logan will be here!!!!!!!

C-Section

I forgot to mention yesterday we have our c-section scheduled for July 20. So we will keep going to our weekly visits every wednesday and wait til then for baby Logan's arrival.

Dr Appointment

Today was the first of our weekly visits to the dr. We did a sonogram and everything looks great. The dr came in and said "whats up with this kid everything looks amazing." The ventricles in his brain that hold the fluid are measuring at 8 mm which is normal when they were at 10 mm two weeks ago. Thanks everyone so much for all the prayers God is really working a miracle in Logan.

Ronald Mcdonald House

Yesterday we settle into the ronald mcdonald house in camden new jersey where we will be for the duration of our stay. There are so many things to  keep ryan busy which will be a big help. He will also have  other kids to play with. There is even a workout room for Mike to use when he gets bored. We will be visiting the dr once a week from now until logan is born so our first appt is wednesday. For now all we can do is wait and see what happens and i have to try hard to obey the drs and stay in bed.

1st day out of hospital

I am feeling much better today, in a lot less pain. Still stuck in bed. We will begin our weekly dr visit on wednesday April 20. Hopefully we will get a room in the ronald mcdonald house by this weekend. Again thanks everyone for the prayers and support. We love all of ya'll and miss everyone so much.

Day 3 of recovering!!!!!

Hi there our friends and family!!! Lachelle is doing great and baby Logan is doing even better. they came and looked at him this morring and he has a tall.. haha its the knot from the stitches at the bottom where the fix his back. very funny!!!! they just took the epidural out this morning and may be she will be able to get up out of the bed to nite or in the morning and hopefuly she can eat a good dinner tonite if she dose well on liquid food for lunch. Lachelle says hi and she love everyone!!!

Day 2 of recovering!!!

Lachelle and baby Logan are doing great they are recoveing just fine. they are slowly takeing her of the med. that keep her sleepy. they looked at the baby this morning and he looks great. Ryan went and got them a puppy name alex so his mammy can have something to hold when she sleeps... thanks all of yall!!!

GOOD NEWS!!!

the surgery when great!!!!!!!!! L achelle and baby Logan are geting ready to return to the room. the dr said they did great and the open back closed up just like they whated it too!!!!!! now its recover time for them both. thanks for all the prayer and keep them comeing!!!!!

baby logan surgery!!!!!

We arrived at the hospital at 5:15am this morring. We are in the room waiting till 7:30am till they take her back for the surgery. The surgery will be about 2 1/2 hrs. long. Thanks for al your prayers and i will let every one know asap.

Atlantic City, New Jersey

Today we went to Atlantic City to do more site seeing. The view of the ocean is amazing, it is to bad it was raining a little but we still had alot of fun. Only a few days left until the surgery on friday. The other half of the ammio test came back and all is normal on those as well. Thank the Lord for all he has done for us and all he is going to do.

New York

Today we went to New York and saw ground zero,the statue of liberty, the empire state building, time square, and maddison square garden. It was amazing to see and the traffic was unbelievable, people crossing the street right in front of you, taxis acting like they own the road, it was all crazy but we had a great time. Just trying to stay busy to keep everything off our minds. We miss all of ya'll and love ya'll.

Out and about

We have just been trying to stay busy til the surdery so we drove to New Jersy and Deleware. We have been collecting the bicycle lisence plates with the boys names from every state we have been to. Tomorrow we are taking a trip to New York to see ground zero and the statue of liberty. Here are some pics of us.

RESULTS!!!

We got the results back today from the ammiocentisis test and everything came back normal and we are scheduled for surgery on Friday April 08,2011. thank all of yall for your prayers and thoughts and we will keep yall informed.

Waiting

Still waiting on results so we went site seeing yesterday to the Liberty Bell. Then just relaxed the rest of the day and on sunday. Monday we are schuled to take a tour of the delivery area and NICU at the hospital and maybe talk to other families with children that have spina bifida.

Day 2

Today we did an amminocentisis to check for any chromosone defects. Hope fully we will have the results by tuesday or wednesay then we will know when to schedule the surgery. Forr now we just wait and do site seeing. Weather permiting we will see the liberty bell tomorrow.

Adventure Begins

Our day began early this morning. Had to be at the hospital at 7am to begin testing (sonogram, eckogram, and mri).  Will have to do an ammiocentisis to check the chromosones for any defects tomorrow. Then we will have to wait 7 to 10 days for the results of the test. If that comes back normal then test surgery will be scheduled shortly after. At this point in time we know Logan has an opening starting in the L5 and ending in the S5, he has a hind brain herniation, and clubbed feet.
